tranny replacement question
for a 2010 year car if mbusa decides to change out my tranny, torque converter, and driveshaft under warranty are the parts new or remanufactured?
any chance I get the 7g plus instead of the 7g?
what's the warranty in this beyond the original warranty?

Have had lots of problems with the transmission on my 2012 E550 4matic. First time it was a remanufactured unit, started developing the ticking sound, second time they put in a new one, hopefully it will problem free from now on.

If it came with a 7g, it will be replaced with a 7g.
Just like if your M272 engine died, they will replace it with an identical M272 engine and not a newer M276.

will it be re-manufactured or brand new? How good is a re-manufactured? If my original warranty ends in 9/2014 will the tranny warranty be 1 year from the date of install?
