I have a 2011 E350 Wagon and waiting for the 2015 models to be announced.
Rumors are a new engine is coming, 328hp? Turbo?
Anyone have any information?

if they change engines it will pretty much mirror the new c class that is coming out as the C400 with a turbo v6 making 329 hp and 354 lb/ft

The E550 will be replaced by the E400. Other than that I would not expect major changes given that the facelift was in 2014.

Isn't the E400 available in Hybrid only in the USA? This is replacing the E550? There's no comparison between the vehicles.

Please refer to this thread on the E63 board regarding the 2015 E-Class:

https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...guide-dog.html

I have the dealer ordering guide in there. Biggest change is that the E550 is replaced by the E400 and Premium 1 pack gains power folding mirrors.

It's very easy to add if your car doesn't have it. It runs about 995 euro in parts.

It silly that the in the US, you guys keep the E350 and get the E400 to replace the E550.

In Canada, we dump the E350 which is replaced with the E400 and keep the E550.

The 2015 E wagon will be an E400 in Canada. The DOG looks like it will be the same E350 in the US.

I thought in the past adding it didn't work. And that it came down to needing a code to program the feature to fold on lock and maybe even get the button to work. Potentially where it all fell apart was the feature was not approved for the US market.

So not sure if it will all work now given 2015s should have it. I have a 2014 on order and really would like the folding mirrors. I have it on my ML and like it for parking on street in the city. Has anyone gotten a retrofit to work in the past?

I got this info from MBenzNL the guru of mb retrofits. He said to a very easy retrofit and if it does require version coding it's very easy. Doesn't matter that us cars are not offered with it in the past.

If you're at all curious I would send him an email. You can find him at MBenzNL.nl please do tell him Nathan sent you.

I love the engine line up offered in Canada. Too bad we cannot have it here. Two V6s, the diesel, the V8 and the AMG V8.

I was planning on ordering a 2015 C250 Coupe and the rep was showing me some specific builds. It seems the multimedia package has an entry that says fold in mirrors so I think they may be putting those in on the 2015 E Coupes!

Too bad no E400 wagon in the US. I was looking to trade my wagon for a new E400 wagon. Guess I'll have to keep it a few more years.

Thanks for the ordering guide. For me, I also wanted the E400 option in 2015.
Any tech info on the upcoming 2015 E350 engine?

Do you have any ordering guide information on the E350 sedans?

Bummer the E400 has the MB-tex dash standard. I wish that would have been standard for the E550.

It will probably take a while - took a couple of years to shift to the 7-g tronic, too.

I don't think the V8 will be offered in the 15 W212 in Canada. However I was told it will still be available in W207 coupe. Also the CLS will be offered with the tt V6 and the V8.

This is from the Canadian DOG dated July 11, 2014.

The E550 remains for the sedan in Canada.
