Just ordered 2015 E400 Sed
My wife is finally an adult. She is trading her 2013 E350 4M coupe(W207) for a W212 E400 4M. The car should be built in the first decade of Sept.
I'm anxious to see the performance of this small 3.0L TT pushing out 329hp and 354lbs of torque. That should make it feel like a V8.
The E550 is still available in Canada but not in the US. To make it clear, the E400 replaces the E350 not the E550 like some auto journalists have stated.
This E400 should be a more fuel efficient E350 with slightly more power coming from a moderately smaller displacement. I was told there will not be much price difference with the current E350.

You seem to change your Benzes quite regularly. Do you do short leases? Or do you buy them? If so I assume your dealer is good to you, or you would suffer a big depreciation hit each time.

I buy my cars but I am not sure that is the most efficient way to drive these cars. I must admit that I have had a long relationship with my dealer and I am treated very well. This will be my 21st MB since 1983.
PS This will be my first MB with an internet browser and I was advised there are may apps available for the car including 5 day weather for any location. Google and mail are among the many apps. A lot of this stuff is only available when the car is in a stationary position.

Hype we miss you around here. Since the E class is gone it seems you don't post as much in this forum.
Should have the E400 by mid October and will let you know if it's a real improvement or fluff.
Is your new S class living up to your expectations?

the S class is too nice for me, I should have kept the TT and 550, but I did hear some horrible things from my salesman about the 550
so I guess I'm glad, but I really miss that 911 Peetee; as you'd understand

The marketing dept. of each country decides what models and standard configuration they want. The US opted to not have the 550. As an example in Canada many of our cars come standard with 4Matic.

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ECU dyno tune; EDOK TCU tune; BB intakes; sprintbooster
Makes sense ... I loved my 550 when it drove well... For me it was the perfect car
