AdBlue Problem
I have the new E220 BlueTec.
Starting at 200Km, I received a message from the BlueTec system that I had an issue with it and I had the EML light ! I ask the garage they told me that I could be that I was missing AdBlue. I had a look and couldn't fit a drop in the tank since I was full!!
I went to the closes garage that inform me that the board computer deliver a message related to the AdBlue Pump. But the value in the exhaust was correct.
He sad that I could drive home safely but to take direct contact with my supplier.
They couldn't had a look immediately so I wait the w-e where I received a new message that After a few Km I couldn't start the car.
I went to the garage and they told me that this is a known issue and will be fixe in the afternoon.
I took my car yesterday drove 10-20Km. Left the car a few hour and restarting the engine having back the AdBlue message.
I went to the garage back this morning and they ask to keep the car but they can deliver me a replacement car before tomorrow.
I don't known if I am the only one having this AdBlue issue with my car but this is a really annoying that with such a car you can rely on it!
I saw that on the forum other type of car have just face the same type of issue but couldn't find it with the E-Class.
If someone has information it's welcome since it no so easy to get this type of problem fixes by my dealer. They really look surprise that reseting the flag is not enough!!!
Let the dealer repair it, again.
Here in the USA we have a "lemon law" which after three tries to repair, they have to buy your car back from you.
Hopefully it is nothing and they will fix it this time.
