ios 8 and bluetooth problems

Since getting the iphone 6 with ios 8, I cannot make bluetooth calls through the car. The phone connects but calls will not connect. Afrer researching the problem it seems to be an issue with ios8 and many different brands of cars. Does anybody have the fix? Thanks and I will post if I figure it out.

Figured it out after reading other forums. If anybody else has this problem, navigate on your iPhone to settings-general-reset and choose reset all settings. After the phone resets you should be able to connect and make calls like normal.

I simply deleted my iPhone from command and reinstalled it and it worked.

Sadly, this is quite correct. Apple's done so much crippling/neutering to the Bluetooth stack that it causes all sorts of incompatibilities with other devices. It's one of the reasons we switched over to Android in our office. It's not the auto makers' faults either. Except the Infiniti Q50...which is complete rubbish..but I'll save that for another day.
