2017 E in late 2016
I'm planning on purchasing a new E AWD sedan in late 2016.
I have read that these will be based on a new RWD drive platform.
I need an AWD vehicle. Does anyone know if an AWD version of the new E class will be available?
Thanks.....HBH

4Matic E Class
FYI, every new E Class (MY2014+) sold in Canada is 4Matic or AWD.
4MAtic is also hugely popular for E Class in the US snow belt. I cannot imagine the next generation W213 being introduced without 4Matic being available in the initial first months.

The wagons really seem to be bias towards 4Matic.

Seeing as how the W205 C class is first introduced as 4matic only and RWD a few months later, I would imagine the W213(?) E class would also have 4matic available if not the only option initially like the C class.
Also the GLA is 4matic only initially with FWD models being released a few months later. So this may be a trend..
