2011e550 lifespan
I'm planning on running this wonderful car for a long time, beyond the obvious concerns about the Airmatic does anybody have experience with very high mileage examples of this NA motor and chassis? I have CPO extended warranty until November 2017 and will most likely have 150k on the odometer by then, and I'm trying to prepare myself mentally for what's coming over the next few years. I'd love to drive this car for 250k miles if it doesn't cost me an arm and a leg!

I guess this will depend on your driving habits, the way you take care of the vehicle cosmetically and how well you plan on following the maintenance schedule. A well taken vehicle should last you a lifetime

Airmatic on my '05 E500 went for over 105K trouble free miles. Engine, and probably the trans, but definitely the engine should spin to 200K without major issues. It's the "minor" things that will be the issue; engine mounts, suspension bushings/ball joints, minor engine oil leaks, etc-etc.
