Hey guys I did a search but could not find it. A while back when I was at the dealer, the service adviser showed me how to test your car battery using the buttons on the steering wheel. Of course he was talking too fast I could not soak in all that info. Does anyone know the steps to test your battery using the steering wheel buttons? Thanks.

I thought my battery was getting weak last Dec., but since service was scheduled for couple of weeks later, didn't do anything. Sure enough, day I was to take it in, the temp. dropped to upper 20's and it wouldn't start. Roadside Assistance came and replaced the battery since it was four years old.
Since I don't drive a lot, getting battery tested will be on my annual service list. Ironically, it is on the dealer's free inspection list for my Toyota, but not on the MB charged for checklist!
BTW, the replacement MB battery is warranted for ONLY two years and costs $300!
