Hi , i was just wondering if anybody know what is the top speed on e550s , i did 133mph but after that i think there is a limiter that doesnt let it go faster.
i couldnt find any other threads , but if there is one please provide a link , thank you all in advance.

USA models are limited to 130 MPH, Euro spec models are 155 MPH

I would have guessed 170+ 382 hp is a lot of power and these cars are very aerodynamic 187 is remarkable for a mass produced sedan

Mine cuts out right at 135mph... SoCal on the 241 returning from opening day of Fast Furious 6. Was feeling it and let the big dog run....sad that it cut out so quickly. It was pulling strong right up to that point like it could have gone >150 easy.

 

I drove an Audi A6 with the 3 L diesel engine 250 km/h in Germany a few years back now. It was a sports line avant model and I don't know how much power that engine has but comparing that to my own E550 tells me the 250 km/h would be very easy to reach with my E550. 250 km/h is 157 mph. Without limiters it would probably near 190 mph if not even 200 mph.

 

What are your tires rated for speed wise?

 

I'm not sure what you ask? I don't know the tires on that rental Audi. It had some all season tires and a speed limit sticker for 240 km/h on the dash. Well, went 10 over that.


My current own car has tires with Y speed rating on them, i.e. 300+ km/h. I sure wish there was a road around to go drive full speed with this car...
