Gas Tank Won't Close
Guys,
I just filled up my tank for the first time on my 13' E350 Bluetec. For some reason the door won't close. Looking closely it appears the door is hitting that little pin. But the pin has no way to go away. It's like it is fixed there. What am I missing?
In an effort to see if the door was bumping the top of the gas cap I tried to close the door with the cap off and broke the little plastic tether arrrgh.

This can happen if you lock the doors with the filler door open or if you lock the doors when you exit the car, then unlock the doors without opening a door other than the filler door and the car will automatically lock the doors in about 45 seconds while you are filling up. That pin goes in the hole in the filler door when it is closed.
