How much material to wrap a W212?

I'm looking to wrap my W212 soon but don't know how much material I need to purchase. Anyone have an idea?

NONE! It's a bad idea. The wrap will look good the day it goes on and will steadily get worse from that point. I have had it on my commercial vehicles, it looks great on them for the advertising impact but I would never ever put it on my Mercedes. Also, try taking it off! It's a real tedious job, I've done it!

I deal with wraps in my business. It completely depends what your goal is. Really, you should be buying pre plotter cut pieces custom made for you vehicle and each panel. Otherwise you will be working on and against your benz with xacto knives when is a recipe for disaster.

Any reputable shop where you can buy the vinyl will have the software to make the die-line and plotter cut each panel for you. It makes installing far easier and safer.

The wraps do wear out and get pitted. It really depends on where you live, road conditions and weather.

If you just want protection we highly recommend Xpel products. They make full car clear bra wraps that are amazing. Even one version that if it gets scratched or pitted you can 'heal' the material with a heat gun and rubbing smooth.

de-install is just as hard, time-consuming, and costs about 1/2 of install (basically because of the material cost going away.)

Can someone help me understand what we are talking about here? I see wrapping on race cars all the time but that is as much about sponsors as anything.
What is the purpose?

I would go with at least 5ft x 65ft rolls, maybe more, if it's your first time. I made tons of mistakes.

Thanks for the input everyone. Yosheego, your number seems to be what everyone has been telling me. I went ahead and ordered 25 yds of material.

wraps are awesome! my E was wrapped 110 days, and it came off flawlessly......maybe yours was baked on? after years of averts?

I was trying to find my scrap paper with all the measurements but I came up empty handed, sorry OP......good luck, can't wait to see what color you go with
