Tear in MB- Tex- CPO Cover it?
Seat bottom has a tear in the middle where the stiching has come loose
2011 E350 under CPO with 58k miles
Should CPO cover this?
Sad to see something like this on a car with low miles and mostly highway driving. I have had 250,000 mile W123's with perfect MB Tex

Not sure about this one. One thing that the extended warrantys don't cover are cosmetic things. This one may be borderline. Let us know how it turns out.

[QUOTE=KEY08;6337523]It could be worse. A lot worse:
Wow, that girls seats are horrible, but sounds like MB is taking care of her. Good to know it's unlikely to affect new W212's. Loved her quote tho. 60 Minutes LOL. strategic use of caps too
I have access to EVERY media outlet and all the reporters / editors in United States. I am a PR professional with 21 years experience and knowing how to reach the news media is exactly what I do for a living. I could call 60 Minutes, NBC Nightly News, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Automobile Magazine, Road & Track, in seconds, etc. etc. BUT, I haven't gone that route yet. If I ever did reach out to news media, I would ask all of you to sign a letter and support my words. Would you do that?
My 2015 C-300 got picked up this past Monday. I got a call today from the Service Dept at my dealership. My new seats will be in around February 20. I am being told that this entire issue is "a mess" - which it is. So in the mean time I have a loaner car.
As for the oil that got on my clothes, MB is paying me for the clothes damage. Yeah!

that would make a good story. that and the faded wood on the 2010-2011 E class. MB needs to take care of all these quality issues.
