Supposedly, my dealer fixed this rubber seal problem on my E350 about 2 weeks ago. So now, when looking in my engine area or in your photo, where should I find the 4 clips that comprise the fix? I've looked for the clips, but haven't seen anything obvious. Anyone have photos showing the clip locations?

As I understand the instructions in this procedure, the clips, once installed, are not visible because they're covered by the re-installed rubber edge guard when the procedure has been completed. If my understanding is correct, this would explain why I haven't seen any evidence of the 4 clips. Agree?
