Does the distronic plus w/steering assist in the E-class function same as C-class?

Does the distronic plus w/steering assist in the E-class function same as C-class?
I know the new C-class has auto steering <30kph if following a car but does the new E-class do this as well?

I feel like I read it's 2013 and after E-class only?

Facelift and up has STEER ASSIST. Pre-FL did not.
