I just bought a set of new wheels for my car, but maybe I needed to do more research here are the specs. Hopefully I didn't mess up the purchase cause I feel I got a great deal.
Wheels are Asanti Af-118
19x9 et20 all squared up
So I'm unsure of the fitment and tire size I should use. I was thinking 255/35/19 but now I'm unsure because of the wheel offset.

you could do 245/35/19 as well...275/35/19 will look the best in my opinion.

Why go thru the trouble of adding one inch?
Can you really tell the difference over 18" at distance?
Will it make your car go any faster or handle any better?

Could you do 20" with 40 series tire? Or that would be to much?

Any size between 245/35/19 and 275/35/19 will be fine. It just depence if your vehicle lowered and if so then how low you are. I am not sure if offset 20 will work for rear wheels . And front wheels will be sticking out about 5 o 10 mill . But this is your car ))
As mentioned you will be poking a lot as mentioned before. You are probably 15-20 off in the offset to make it flush. I would test fit them if I were you to see what it'll actually look like before spending money on tires.
And yes 19" look way different than 18".
