My new 2015 Mercedes E350 sport
I reached agreement on my new 2015 E350 AWD. I pick it up in two weeks. I am coming out of a 2013 E350.
My new one is black on black, sport, P1, Lane tracking, keyless, AMG wheels, spoiler. This was the last 2015 on the lot. The 2016s are out on the lots now.
I got 10.3 K off MSRP. Payment is $523, or $580 with PA tax per month. My last car was leased, and so is this one. 15 K miles per year with full maintenance.
I know it has been debated here, but I love the facelifted cars. I like the clock in the middle of the dash. And I love the new headlights. I looked at the E400, but even the dealership told me the extra 35 hp was not worth $10K. Now when this lease is up, it will be a good time to get into the brand-new E350 as some time will have passed since introduction, and they should be discounting a little bit by that time.
Anyway, I researched every possible car in existence. All the pluses and minuses. This is the best all-around car for me being in the north east. All-wheel-drive. Four doors as I still have a family. Decent speed.
I tried to talk myself into a new SRT charger. But not this time. I looked at the new Corvettes, but I cannot have a two seater as my primary car. I looked at the CLS, but the premium is too much for what I want to pay for a car.
I plan to ask the dealership if there is anyway I can customize the car a little bit with some type of different wheel. But I suspect it will not be worth the price given that I already have the AMG wheels.
I even looked at the cla45 AMG. But AMG cars do not lease well, and that car was just not practical enough for me. My son is 6'3"
Anyway, if anyone knows of any new each class features that I may not know about, please let me know.
Thank you everyone, Todd
I finally struck a deal with an out-of-state dealer via the Internet manager, but the dealership was still not that far away. They were ready to deal in order to clear their last 2015.
