Floor mat(s) question(s) - '14 E550 4MATIC
My '14 E550 4MATIC came with floor mats that had metallic Mercedes-Benz labels integrated into the driver/passenger front mats.
Although I take meticulous care of my interior, the label on the driver side front mat started to come loose.
My MB dealer (which is outstanding) gave me an entire set of new mats for free.
The new mats do not have the metal label. Instead, they have the "Mercedes-Benz" name sewn into the driver/passenger side mats.
Here's the curious thing I noticed (finally getting to my questions): The passenger side front mat has snap anchors on it despite the fact that there are no snap/anchor points on the passenger side.
My old passenger side front mat did not have any anchors.
Is this normal? Does anyone have the new mats I described above?
Was I provided the wrong mats? The driver side front mat fits well, and so do the rear mats. The passenger side mat with the anchors, however, is just a tiny bit too wide at the portion where the mat begins to run vertically up the floorboard.
Here is the part #: A212 680 43 01 97J4
The 212 aspect of that part # leads me to believe that the mats are intended for the W212 E-Class. It's just strange that the passenger side front mat fits oddly. It's also strange that it has integrated snap anchors despite the fact my car has no anchoring points on the passenger side.

2012 Mercedes Benz e350 4Matic
Funny thing is I purchased all weather mats from the MB dealer near me and the passenger side also has no anchors installed however the mat has snaps. I told them I had a 4matic E sedan. It fits fine in the car, i don't think its a problem to be honest.

Thanks for the info. I'm not too worried about it. More curious than anything. I definitely like having the sewn-in Mercedes-Benz labels. The metal MB inserts looked very good when new, but they got scratched up easily by my "dress" shoes.

2014 E550-sold 😩
W211 maybe?
I believe my W211 4matic had the snap anchors on both sides. It definately had stitched labels. Maybe he just gave you the wrong mats.
