Is perforated/ventilated seats possible on S212
...in Canada, is this a possible option? I do not see it, but would really like it.
Can it be ordered?
For the Luxury line styling, can the Avantgarde Package be deleted? With the 2016 model year it appears that it cannot - I want a car higher off the ground without the side skirts and other styling stuff that comes with the Avantgarde (visible exhaust, etc). For 2015 it appeared this was possible, for 2016 it appears they just added the grill and the wheels and some chrome pieces along the sides and bumpers.
What does the Avantgarde package include (priced at $4700)?
I want a functional car that is comfortable, My main complaint with the S212 that I have is that it is not comfortable enough (suspension too hard).
Has someone made or can I make a "real" custom-order? The dealer I have asked here are just interested in a quick sale and unlike before, don't really advise you (it is ludicrous - the dealer I asked quickly put a quote together before I even had the chance to finalize my options... as if I would just agree..one red flag to go elsewhere.
What about European delivery - If I ordered one that way, could I really custom build the car?

Climate Comfort seats are an unpublished option in Canada, code 401, $1200
Avantgarde cannot be deleted, but the AMG styling can be replaced with luxury styling. No change in suspension and the luxury package still rides on 18" wheels.
No custom order possible.

You can't order a car in Canada with the options you want? I know dealers like selling from inventory, but that's crazy. I would think all Euro delivery cars are custom ordered just from the nature of it.

No, you can custom-order (just like the U.S.) from what they offer in their advertised catalogue, but far more restricted than in Europe, especially for a small market such as Canada.
The Volvo Overseas Delivery program adds additional options that are not available otherwise here, not too sure about Mercedes though if there is any difference.
