Maybe if the wheels were gloss finished they would blend better. They just stick out a bit too much. Also post some pics with those rear lights on, interested to see what they look like. Still nice E550

It's amazing how many confused members are on this forum! Those taillights are Genuine Mercedes part of Euro sport package.
And, to be honest. I really don't care what others think about it - I like them, that what matters! Na I can always change them back to the stock ones as well.
This was my first and last time posting pictures here.

I know, I saw the article title and after doing my own research I realized that you were right, they are unusual, but you'll never please everyone. Don't let that dissuade you from sharing pictures though, I've had people insult my choice in wheels, but I really don't care. The positive feedback/constructive suggestions is what makes it worth it. Seeing that you are in Denver, you should come to Cars and Coffee sometime!

really like that color of the wheels.....did you strip them before the PC? I've only had an OEM set striped and PC'ed, but never any of my HRE's.......was actually considering this as an alternative to sending them to CA again.....have they been coated long? and you're pleased with 3 coats? not to thick?


now the tails...........uh, not a fan of them, they seem to kind of clash with the flat grey and shiny black.....just my opinion though

I may be one of the very few on here that actually recognized that those taillights are genuine! In my opinion, they look magnificent! I would definitely purchase them if I owned a 212. They almost make the rear end more tolerable in my eyes! The only thing I must say is that putting a slight tint would make it go better with your body color!

As for the wheels, beautiful! I love your entire setup.

Relax. Don't go getting all emotional. It's just different tastes which everyone is equally entitled to display or comment on. Not everyone is gonna like everything you do to your car. Who cares?! That's why there are so many different styles of everything. It's nothing personal. Also doesn't matter if the tail lights are genuine or not. They are still ugly regardless.

This is a public forum. Everyone's opinion is worth only what you think of it. If somebody doesn't like your style, so what? It doesn't change anything for you. All you need to think about is how you feel about your mod and how much happy it makes you. You don't need anyone's approval. BTW I think the car looks awesome . I would like the rims to be a bit shiny though, (but again that's only my opinion).
