main problems choosing e350cdi
Hello everyone.
I thinking to buy cdi about 2009-2010 year, sport.
Going through forum i found some information about problems with injectors (it was strange from me because i was thinking only e220cdi and especially e250cdi have that problem). So i wondering, this this issue is resolved or its still actual?
As well i was wondering about thous auto gear box, did any one had any problems with them?
And in generally what should you look for when buying them?
Thx.

While it is true, the 220/250 4 liters are much more prone to carbon buildup, and V6s are not as likely to be bothered by it; In your case, its even less of an issue. Its the 252hp V6 Euro version, so its working the fuel prettyl well. In ANY diesel however, if the previous owners babied the living sht out of it, you could have buildup or oil seal leaks.
We dont get a Cdi here, and its 11-13 only for the w212 bluetec v6 (and 211hp only).
As far as the transmission, its the same 7Gtronic from the w204 and others; Not the new plus version. Works well, change tranny fluid every 60kms max, and re-train the shift patterns with your paddles for a few weeks before judging the tranny memory from the old owners. I think your version might even allow you to leave it in S/E when the car turns back on/off. Forget when they started doing that...

I living in UK so we have w212 diesel 2009-2010 with 231bhp and from 2010 its was new engine with 265bhp.
I trying to get a car under 30-40k mails on clock so it's difficult to find with new engine to fit my budget.

I found info. that the there's recommendation to change fluid in transmission every 60k miles or 4 years.
It would be were helpful if some previous or present owners would share what kind of feltis they had.
