How can you identify a genuine MB fender on a w212?

How can you identify a genuine MB fender on a w212?
I posted previously that the local dealership caused some damage to my E350. It's in an Authorized MB Repair Facility (independent of the dealership) and I am told they are going to repair the fender (not replace) as a genuine MB fender runs around $620.
However, in my past experience with body shops, I have many times seen them write an estimate for one thing but then do another. An aftermarket fender is less than $100 and it would be cheaper for them to replace with an aftermarket fender. I’m pretty sure that the OEM fender is stamped with something indicating it’s a Mercedes Benz part, possibly on the top side where it bolts to the car just under the hood. Can anyone confirm?
I’ll be picking it up later this week and I just want to make sure.

Well the car is back. They DID replace the fender. The fit appears a little snug on the front end where it meets the bumper cover (gap is tighter than on the other side). I don't see any for of MB or other markings on the new fender. It was repaired at the only MB Certified shop in the area but I'm still not sure they put on an MB part since it is slightly snug. I guess I'l try a magnet test later when the wife comes home and see if there is any difference. (OEM is aluminum and very expensive and aftermarket is not)
