VMI Report?
All -

Can anyone help with providing a detailed VMI report for my 2011 E350 4Matic Wagon? I got one with my new (to me) BlueTEC and would like to have the same for the wagon. Also, want to look into replacing the faded wood but need stuff like in-service dates, etc...

Any help is appreciated. VIN is WDDHH8HB8BA399209.

Just ask your SA nicely, he should be able to print you one. I think only MB dealers have access to VMI. Good Luck...

Yeah - it's just a pain to go to the dealer to get it, so I was hoping that one of the guys on here who have dome it for others in the past would be willing....

A poster on a recent thread (I think it was for too many flat tires?) mentioned that it's top secret. Weird.

Vehicle Master Inquiry documents all service / repairs performed by MB dealers for VIN. Dealer discretion to release hard copy.

Yeah, and it gives a lot more detail than a VIN lookup, and in particular the dealer service history and any campaign/recall info, in-service date, etc.... But it does also include the full list of build codes, engine and tranny numbers, and so on.

Agreed. Point was that the VMI gives you all the other stuff besides those items on the data card - e.g. the service info and history...
