Reset KeyFob
Over the years there has been discussion re KeyFob problems not solved by battery changes.
I cannot recall seeing a reset procedure on this site or on others but I came across this today.
It may be that I missed it and this is known but no harm in posting it as I see it.
1) Deactivate key fob (do so by rapidly pushing lock button on key fob twice). Note: must be away from car when deactivating key fob.
2) Re-activate by going to car and locking/unlocking car using the key fob lock/unlock buttons.
3) Test by touching handle for keyless entry or by using push button start.
