OEM air filters A2780940004
Bought these air filters for my e coupe.. They are brand new and never been used.. Ended up being for the e550 sedans.. Anyway.. Here is the part number

A2780940004

are the filters different for a coupe and sedan? I was looking at getting AFE Pro Dry S filters and the AFE site shows one part number fitting both...

Are you sure the fitment issue isn't like V6 E350 vs V8 E550 instead of coupe vs sedan?

That is correct. These filters are for all 278 engine cars, which is also in 2012-on E550 sedans, coupes and cab. (Of course they are also for the rest of 278 engines in MB fleet - CLS, ML, SL anf GL).
