I want a E550 coupe but I am concerned about the ride quality. It probably is not as comfortable as the sedan but I am wondering if anyone has driven extensively in both? Can you give me an idea of the comfort level and differences between the coupe and sedan? I am close to 70 years old and I'm thinking the sedan (luxury model) will suit me better. However, I would like one last hurrah! before I get much older and this coupe might be it. What do you all think?
not sure if this will help. i have a sedan and a coupe but both in 250. the sedan is a bit bouncier which makes it more comfortable. the coupe is NOT uncomfortable by any means but you can definitely feel the difference between the 2. a bit harsher and stiffer on the coupe.
id say test drive both cars and compare for yourself.
but to be honest, the coupe puts a lil smile on my face everytime i drive it.
it has that sexiness and appeal that no other coupe can give you.

Yes, getting in and out of the coupe is entirely different than the sedan!
Our Convertible is a bit stiffer than the sedan but not harsh by any means. It has a good feel to it... and yes you can get good city mileage just have to keep your foot out of it
I think your is the same colour as mine? Steel Grey? Just picked it up a couple weeks ago. 2011 with P1 P2 Distronic but no reverse camera. I still don't know how I missed that lol. But this car is a blast to drive none the least.
