Done deal. I bought a beast!
Drove home a beast this evening. Happy to say that I purchased a CPO '13 e550 Coupe with Premium Package 2, 30k miles, and more bells n whistles than I can handle.
Purchased from MB Laguna Niguel. Props to Russ, Ray and John(?- sorry I forgot his name) the Finance guy. Drove up from San Diego- took the car for a nice ride (I even sat in the backseat for a few miles), talked #'s for about 10 minutes and then signed a buncha papers and we were on on way home less than 3 hours later! Even ran into a cardiologist I used to work with > 10 years ago).
The 60 mile freeway drive home was a combination of having sex for the first time with someone you've fantasized over for years and the familiarity of a MB product.
I'll post more particulars later- car buying is exhausting! Thanks to all for their input- esp. Tonycpa!

Best of luck with the car Lisa! Can't wait to see those photos. The online photos from the dealer looked beautiful.

Details details details
I have attempted to post a few snaps. But I am not entirely computer savvy and am not sure if you will "see" the images- as of now I just see a link to a jpg file.
The yet to be named '13 e550c is a beast! For those of you who haven't "followed" my posts, I was initially in the market for a 12 cls or a 13 e550 (upgrading from a '10 e350). I did a lot of research and drove a few cars, had my budget set, asked questions here, received quotes on ELW, etc... Made an offer last Monday (9-21) on a '13 CPO e550 (sedan) that we couldn't come to an agreement on price. I walked. Another fourm member (@tonycpa) had pointed me in the direction of this e550c about 70 miles north of San Diego, MBLaguna Niguel. I hadn't considered going that far north to look at cars. But after being unable to agree on the price on the '13 e550 (sedan) , I thought that it might be advantageous to look at this e550c at MBLN. It was under my budget, I didn't really need a sedan, never had even considered a coupe despite noticing that they were under my budget (go figure).
Drove up to MBLN on Tuesday (9-22) and brought the car home less than 3 hours later. And I must admit that I am a bit blown away by this car! Mind you, I am a mid 40's so cal lesbian female, a "night nurse", cat lover, traveller, liberal minded and fiscally conservative, 2 adult kids, empty nesters, kind of girl (just setting it all up so you don't judge the fact that I am basically clueless on car/automotive/electronical/computerized stuff, but that I am interested in LEARNING!).
I feel that I got a "good" deal... I will post my a link to my yelp review later.
This is my daily driver...
Some of my observations after having driven the car very little since purchase (due to life):
The e550coupe vs. e550sedan- the coupe sounds like a "muscle car" I am surprised every time I start her- that such a throaty sound comes outta a "plain jane" exterior. Kinda like me, I guess!
What have they done to make the coupe and sedan sound so different? They are the same engine, correct?
I have not used Sport mode. I have played around with the paddle/knob shifting and it is so much more fun than my '10 e350! Wow. And I understand why the knob shifter is there as when you try to utilize the paddles while mid-turn, it's difficult!
I like the ride. I like the fact that the rear windows roll down. Gas mileage on the freeway is comparable to my '10 e350- go figure that one out. I am definitely happy about that.
Ask questions and I;ll be happy to answer! It's late and I am fried...

Congrats on the new ride. The E550 is an amazing ride. I am always surprised how effortless it builds speed and yes highway fuel economy is awesome. As for around town fuel economy, your mileage may vary.

Yes, we can see the photos, so you are doing it correctly. I think you can post up to 6 per post. So, you may want to go to your original post, click edit on the bottom right of the post and post your 5 favorite photos there so when people enter the thread that is the first thing they see and then add more photos as you wish throughout the thread.
The color is a stunning and should make your car stand out even more from other 550s because not that many people have it. Black tint combined with that color is only going to enhance the visual appeal of your Bernz further. In addition, your car is fully loaded, it had many package and options upgrades. Just from the 3 photos you posted we can see 2 rear spoilers, a panoramic roof and the sport package. Maybe you want to share that info in the OP as well.
Best of luck with the beast!

13 e550 Coupe
Mamachup, you are a great shopper-need to add that to your resume. I had a feeling you were going Coupe, and why I thought that-the PM of the Coupe at MB Chantily is why, but it was soft top and this is hard-safer for I5-thinking like a Nurse? You even got Mods built in. If you can take a day off, nurses actually work for a living (and are highly appreciated) take a cruise up 55, to 40 and open that baby up-if you just want to play with that suspension stick to PCH south of Laguna Niguel. Nice, really nice. Good pick-suggestion Tonycpa.

I want a E550 coupe but I am concerned about the ride quality. It probably is not as comfortable as the sedan but I am wondering if anyone has driven extensively in both? Can you give me an idea of the comfort level and differences between the coupe and sedan? I am close to 70 years old and I'm thinking the sedan (luxury model) will suit me better. However, I would like one last hurrah! before I get much older and this coupe might be it. What do you all think?

Mamachup, if moving within MB World Forums works for you to look and find specific W207 data-assistance regarding your MB purchase-do you-you like to research. I may be wrong, but I think the site was created for this purpose and if anyone wants to provide their thoughts chime in.
