Do my tailpipes look ok?

Have a warranty job carried out by the stealer and they changed the rear of the exhaust today together with mufflers. From the beginning the right pipe hanged down a little bit and protruded more outwards then the left one.

After today it looks like this. Is this how it should look like? Feels like the right one is still hanging a little bit and that the pipes protrude more outwards then they should?

The protusion doesn't seem too abnormal considering that both sides come out at the same angle and by the same amount. I don't notice that the right side is lower from the second photo. Have you measured the gap on each side and compared?

Before today, they were completely flush with the bumper, the right one only stuck out a little bit but not this much.

i reckon they should line up with the shape of the bumper. i see what Hyperion is saying, both pipes are pointing outwards instead of straight but more visible with your right pipe.

Yeah the right one is pointing more outwards but barely visible. The stealer is already losing his patience with me but i don´t care. It should be right.

I´m more concerned about the pipes not being flush with the bumper. Does anybody have a pic of their own car so we can compare?

If it bothers you have them fix it or it will always annoy you. It's your car they should make you happy.

You mentioned that you think they may be protruding too far out. I would imagine that would be a very difficult fix because if there isn't any room to play with the would need to cut the pipe to shorten it, and that's a *****. BTW, that may be the very reason they angled them to the side.

Personally, I think they look fine. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Will do tomorrow mate. But just to let you know, both my E's (sedan & coupe) are 250 so they both have single exhaust pipe. From the pic i posted, you can already tell the difference from yours. Ill post more pics tomorrow if you still want em.
