2017 GLE 350
Unhappy 2012 e350 retractable console cover won't fully open
Something has slid into the area where cover goes into dash and now I can barely open enough to get to ashtray and the power plug/cigarette lighter. Is the repair shop the only way to remedy this?

something is jammed in the ashtray area.try a small mirror and a flashlight and fish it out.

I think mine rattles.

Seems one of the two sliding panels squeaks.

Still tracking it down.
