W212 COMAND Control Knob Install Question
Hi MBworld,
I was wondering if anyone knew how to disassemble and install the COMAND control knob on a W212 E350? I tried searching for iDrive install but nothing came up. I cant seem to find a DIY on this topic..
When I look at the part, it has only 2 screws and a harness plug. I was wondering if the center console piece just came off? Or do I have to remove a bunch of parts to access this piece? Any info would help! The dealer wanted $600+ to replace this piece.. but I am finding Used ones for about $60 online, and new ones for $175ish.
If I can do it myself, it would be worth it.. but if not... I guess the scroll function will have to not work.. lol
