Any reliable parking lights?
Hi everyone,
So I've been trying to find a bright led for my Mercedes without triggering that bulb out warning. Found many bulbs online that claim to be canbus and error free but a lot of people are saying they get extremely hot and could cause damage and some of them aren't that (canbus) as they state. I bought the Osram ledriving which is impressive and works but shows the error message constantly.
So if you please help me in finding a high quality w5w bulb that is truely error free.
Thanks

Canbus LEDs will by nature get hot, but temps should be comparable to stock halogen bulbs. This is due to the resistor built into the unit which draws enough current to simulate the current draw of a standard halogen bulb, tricking the SAM in the feedback loop. A key indicator of an LED getting abnormally hot though is when you have component shifting which suggests the melting point of the solder has hit. There are design techniques and other IC components that can be built into the LED to mitigate this though.
Our T10/w5w/194 wedge units are now in their 5th iteration, leveraging the latest in LED technology with COB based diodes and constant current IC drives to regulate power. Plug and play, error free.

Thnks AZN optics , I've heard about your products from other guys. The issue is that a 1000 lumens for a parking light on my Mercedes will be on as long as the headlight is on. Which means they could be so much annoying for other people right?

It'll be bright, but won't be any more annoying than say your HIDs which are a higher lumen.

The Hid will be inside a projector so there will be a cut off, but the w5w bulb will be in the high beam reflector which will cause a high glare that's why am so concerned.
