Just bought a beast of an E55!
This is my 4th Mercedes and 2nd AMG but is literally my best one yet! 2004 with 54k miles! Clean carfax! Loaded with extras! Got it yesterday and decided NOW is the time to sign up here on MBWorld. Let me know what you think everybody!

Rear wheels off SL550 are now the rear wheels on my E55.
OEM rear wheels from E55 are now the front wheels after adding SL550s on rear.
This was also in the trunk.
I took when I got home with it. I was going to take some others, inside and under hood too, but its been raining. Ill add them to the thread in a day or 2 if yall would like to see them.

I never did understand why one would want to de-badge this car. It's such a lo-key flex (very lo-key). Most people have no idea what they are looking at when an E55 rolls by. But if you know, you know!
I say put the badges back on (I would if it were mine). Here's a thread that will help you get them installed in the exact right spots. @E55Greasemonkey and @CQHall did a really nice job showing how to get the positioning just right. Read through their thread and study all the pictures and then re-install your badges. The E55 will thank you for it.
You can also have a look through my car's thread, Meet the Speed Sled (our cars look similar) to see if there are any items in there that might help you out. Although with such a low mileage example like yours, you may not have much broken stuff to deal with.

Thanks man! I love it! Just found out about an hour ago my cupholder thing is broke. I thought it was just the hole in the console. Lol. Didn't realize there was a hole contraption that slides down in there. Found one on eBay and it should be here soon!

Lol. Possible. Never know. My S63 was missing the owners manual, etc. After searching online for a replacement I found out why it was missing. Those things aren't cheap!

Thanks man! I think you're right and I'm glad they came on the car. After giving her the gas, their usefulness goes from "just for looks" to "extremely practical". Haha!

Should I lower the front end a little? Car came with a LoMo M1 Lowering Module already installed. Nothing but a thing now. Thought about toying with it.
Meat.
The front tires are the old rear tires from this car, which still aren't nearly as wide as the SL wheels.

Beautiful car, rare to find with those miles. Enjoy it!
what color is it exactly? Hard to tell on my end.
good luck with it, with those mods you should enjoy it for years to come without issue.

Thanks again! I'm hoping so! Do these mods increase longevity? I was kinda thinking the opposite due to a heavy foot, no? This is my first endeavor with car mods so I'm learning. Lol.

Preciate the kind words, Joe! The paint code is C723. From what I can tell online its Cubanite Silver/Pewter.
