ABS, ESP inoperative see owners manual-Wheel bearing
Just replaced the drivers front wheel bearing.
As soon as pulling out of the garage I got the message about the brake, esp, abs being inoperative.
The sensor is definitely plugged back in. Any other ideas what could have caused this? Does the wheel bearing need to go in a specific way? One side was stamped "inside" so I went off that.

I appreciate your help. I found some one on a UK Mercedes forum that had the same issue and solved it with a new seal/ring. In his case, he received the wrong seal with the bearing.
The seals only $13 but having to do more labor sucks. Hopefully it takes care of the issue.
Although my dealer tells me the part # he used isn't for a w212. For the W212 it doesn't show any seals sold separately in their system. Seems nobody has really done wheel bearings on the w212 yet.
