Air filter for Bluetec

Air filter for Bluetec
Can anybody tell me where the air filter is for my E250? Is there more than one? I don't see air filters in the manual, paper or electronic. My service guide says to replace at 4yrs/4K but surely they need to be serviced before then don't they? I'm at 14K and I thought I had better have a look.

I don't know the configuration of your E250 motor, but on my E350 with a gas motor you can trace the airflow from where it enters above the radiator cover to a plastic housing turned on it's side that sits to the left of the engine cover; the air filter is inside that housing.
