LOL this isn't a build thread but it's where the car sits today since picking her up on the 4th of Dec.
Day 1 she had the factory 18"s dipped in chrome. The wheels and tires are for sale btw
Evening of Day 1 I swapped out the 18"s for my CLS55 19"s here is a pic of my old and new cars. The 19's rims only are for sale as well
Day 2 I already debadged her and took off the chrome strip
Week 2 Then came the present to my self from UPWheels. Yes I need to lower it but since I have airmatic I have to look for links and I have some questions I have to ask a few peeps about it.
Finally a little over a month later yesterday I installed the V8 BITURBO badges, clear corners and led lights. No more orange YAY!!!
yea, ok this is kind of a build thread. What's next? well I already have a carbon fiber diffuser and I just found a cls63 bi turbo cat back exhaust so I have to get that installed. I have been mulling over which tune to go with and I'm debating painting my brakes to either bronze, red or yellow. I may replace my rear wing with a carbon fiber one as well. Maybe even a carbon lower lip too. I also have to decide on carbon mirrors and maybe a grill change. New style LED tail lights Oh and want to do all my badging and moldings in black to get rid of as much chrome as I can.
Thanks for looking.

It looks good so far. Keep it up and let us know how it's going along the way. Any reason why you put the V8 badge on it? I'm not a badge critic guy like some of the others are on this board but just wanted to know was it just because you like the design of it?

Not sure this is a badge police violation. It is a v8 biturbo engine in his 2012 E550. It's not like he put an AMG badge on it.

Looks really good. I like the clear marker on your white car. Those wheels and V8-biturbo badge sure make it look like an E63. I removed the blue-eff and added the V8-biturbo badge to my M278 E550, and my E63 obviously has one as well (and is wearing titanium grey 10 spoke wheels as well).
EDIT: I hear you can upgrade the brakes to red C63/E63 ones fairly easily.

Johnny the secret to getting the residue off is Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. Holy crap it really was like magic. Also use fishing line just to get the first half inch free then use a shoe lace it will work so much faster if you decide to do it.

Thanks for most of the good comments guys! It truly is amazing how just a few cosmetic changes can completely change a car for the better.
Can't wait to complete my build.

Btw, it does look good. I've toyed with the idea of chrome strip removal but I have the luxury trim which extends the strip to the front and rear bumper, and it appears the bumpers have grooves in them where the trim is.

One question, where'd you find the clear lenses? Just picked up a '12 E63 this past Sat & damn the orange is ugly against the black paint!

I totally agree! I did most of the mods you have done to mine. I also have the V8 BITURBO badges, the only thing keeping me from putting it on is I don’t know how to put em on straight. Lol. You might want to consider some lowering springs... HUGE difference in looks and handling, you won’t be disappointed! Mine isn’t equipped with Airmatic but I have Airmatic lowering links if you’re interested (bought them thinking I had Airmatic suspension). Keep updating us with your mods! Cheers
