Looking for an indy shop on the south shore in MA
Hopefully someone can recommend an indy shop or a method to find one on the south shore in MA (bay side).
While my car is still in CPO, there are some basic maintenance things like oil changes, transmission fluid changes, brakes , etc. that could be handled by a qualified indy shop.
Thanks in advance.
Joe

This is not South Shore but thought I'd pass it along (Central MA):
European Car Services
Address: 258 W Main St, Northborough, MA 01532
Phone508) 393-7777
Chris and crew are very honest, reliable, and reasonable.

Where exactly do you mean by Bay side? I only ever hear that mention in relation to Dorchester which is part of Boston so that's not really South Shore.
For the basic stuff, I think any Indy can do them, more like just having the equipment and space to do them. I'm doing my own oil changes. I'm just going to have my regular indy do things like the transmission and brakes, those are still fairly straightforward, at least on my car. I've found my indys before by searching craigslist for ASE certified mechanics, at least you're not getting random shade tree mechanics that way.

I found a shop about 2 miles from my house that specializes in German autos. Primarily Porsche and MB. He did a number of maintenance items - oil change, sparks plugs, trans flush, rear brakes, etc - for under $1,200 and he uses parts that are as good as or better than OEM. The Dealer quoted my over $2,100. On top of it all, he's a great guy.
Problem solved going forward. Thanks for the input.
