E550 2014 text message feature not working
Hello,
When I bought the car in 2014 I was able to get and read the text messages from my iPhone in my car, but when apple upgrade and now that I have the latest iPhone with latest software I don't get the text messages, does mercedes have an upgrade of their software so the feature works again?

You do not need an upgrade. Watch a YouTube video titled how to receive text messages on your screening the car. It is 1.42 mins long from silver star mercedes Benz. It works. I wasn't sure how to post the video thus the reference good luck

It's an Apple thing that changed the default settings in the latest iOS. It simply needs to be turned back on.
After the car and phone have been paired:
Settings ==> Bluetooth ==> (My Devices) Next to "MB Bluetooth" press the Blue circle with an ! ==> Show Notifications = slide "ON"
