2012 E550 4Matic oil Filter
So I am changing the oil for the first time on on E550 and The filter I got from the auto store looks nothing like the filter that came out. Am I missing something here?
2012 biturbo V8 E550 4matic.
They gave me a Mann-Filter HU718/5X. The filter that came out had a plastic end on it. Here is an image of what I found on line. Thoughts, sorry new to European cars, which I love by the way!

Correct P/N for 4.6 (4.7) TT is 2781800009,NOTE: some (repeat some) 4.7 and 4.6 TTs had what they call a "dual" installed filter housing hence some (very few) are using 3.5 V6 DI filters, P/N 2761800009.
Non-TT(NA) 550 V8 and 350 V6 (prior to 2012, non DI) use P/N 0001802609 (or 0001803109).

Thanks for the help. Got the right filter now!
FYI, Advance Auto Parts will give you the 5.5L filter. Their look up system is all messed up for 2012's. 2013 works.
