Trading a 2012 C250 (w204) for a 2010 E350 (w212)?
I'm considering to trade in my wife's 2012 C250 (w204) which only have about 26000 miles on it, for a 2010 or 2011 E350. The main reason is the "ride quality" of C class. We are not looking for a "driver's car." We are looking for a "passenger's car" with better ride quality. With our c250, even that we got the "luxury" style, the ride is still very bumpy. My questions:
1. What are some of the common problems for a 70K+ miles W204, and what are the average cost to repair these issues? Also, what's the TCO between the two?
2. Can we expect a much better "ride quality" in E350? If E350 really is more comfortable, is it mainly because of the longer wheel base or softer suspension?
3. Is there way that we can improve the ride quality for our current 2012 C250 Luxury?
4. What's the "crash rating" comparison (safety) between the two?
Thanks!

There are some keys to tell difference: wheel size, grille, etc.
Remember, this an MB and a European sports sedan and will never ride as well as a Lexus or many other makes. But it handles better and performs better.
I have always viewed MB as a middle ground between BMW (performance) and Lexus (comfort).
Incidentally, I have a 2014 Nissan Rogue SUV and it is quieter and rides better than my E Luxury version with comfort suspension.
