2010 mercedes benz e350
Engine swap
Hi i own an e350 and im going to buy a new engine soon but i was woundering if i would be able to but a 5.5L engine or a 6.3L engine in my car i love my car and wouldnt trade it for the world but i want to see if i can add a bigger engine please let me know thank you

Just like any car that has a computer, you have to put in a computer that is for that engine. You might also have to change the transmission. I would say to double check everything.

it CAN be done...
but you'd save time & money by just trading in for E55/E63...

Maybe he's going for a reverse resto-mod and looking for an M100 like out of a W100 600 or W109 6.3? A lot less in the way of computers that way too
