Carfax report: Accident - vehicle not damaged

Looking at a CPO'd E350. Carfax report shows an accident but says vehicle not damaged, accident involving undercarriage impact. Curious on what people think about this as I am concerned about resale value down the road. Would you stay away 100% from one of these? Or should I not be too concerned if I can buy it at a good discount? Probably not a clear cut answer but would like people's thoughts. Thanks!

The car probably ran over something and damage the undercarriage. If the car drive straight on the highway, then you are getting a nice discount at purchase. You will probably take a hit when you sell the car, it all evens out at the end.

I'm In the market for a 2014 CPO / non CPO, all I have learned is, that these cars are a dime a dozen right now. Wait for the perfect car, hundreds of lease returns are being sold weekly at auction.

Sounds like the damage is insignificant, especially since it is being CPO'd.

But there is no need to carry a dinged car fax around unless the discount you are recieving is the 1000s.
