Blacked out continued

This weekend I got around to finishing blacking out my car with Plastidip. I removed the window trim and exhaust tips and painted them with great success. Removing the trim was very easy.

Anyway, here are some pics and sorry for the dirty car

Looks awesome! Out of curiousty. Removing the window trim to dip. Do the ends just pop off and you can pull the trim or do you need to unscrew from the inside? I can't find anything on it and I need to rewrap my window trims.

Thanks!

For the top trim I started from the rear and just unclipped it. I used a plastic pry tool if my fingers didn't fit. It just pops right off, really easy.

For the bottom window trim I also started from the rear and lifted up on the trim and it comes right up.

To get a visual idea, watch the video below for reference. Although in the video he removes the side mirrors and some end caps on the trim which is not necessary

I was watching that video too, but then I read that you had to take the inner door panel off to unscrew it. Phew that would have been a pita.

Awesome! I'll take mine off tonight and start wrapping! Thank you!
