I am looking for help with replacing the stock door lock pins on a E-400 to the stainless steel one. I can not find any info on how to do the replacement. Can anyone help with some resources.
Thanks.
Thanks.

quick way, uncrew the fronts, screw in the new ones. pull the rear and push the new ones in. make sure the new ones youre getting have longer fronts and shorter rear.
proper way, unscrew the fronts, screw the new ones. remove rear door panel (takes less than 5 mins) to replace the rear door pins.

Video for the front door pins
PDF attached for removal of rear door panel.
MB sells the steel pins. So does a seller called JB speed.
Just note that both the steel pins are shorter in length than the OEM plastic ones. When locked they will sit flush to the door panel and you cannot use the pins to unlock door anymore. In European cars that not a problem but in US cars, you can use the door lever to unlock the front door but that option is not present in rear doors. Only central unlocking using the buttons / key fob will work - if that is a concern for you.
Welcome to the forum BTW.
