Electrification of hood ornament
A few times a week I find that when I come back to my car, someone's fiddled with the hood ornament. Anyone have a good schematic for a low voltage/high amperage electrification circuit for the star? Alternate suggestions considered as well.
Thanks all!

It would be cool to wire it to the horn so it blows when they move the star a little. They will sh*t themselves. If you install that you have to get a dashcam for the footage.

years ago on my old C230 I had 3 hood emblems stolen, I gave up and left it off at the third time...not only that back in the day when stealing "chromies" was the thing, pissed me off so much. now I just leave the rubber/plastic tire valve caps on in fear of it becoming a trend again hahaha.

People with OCD should never own a Mercedes with the standing star, I find myself all the time trying to position it to be right and can never find the perfect angle. Also as a sidenote who can remember all the "gangstas" wearing them on a chain around their neck?
