Problem with 19+ wheels causing ratting/creaking sound in the cabin?

5K miles in (2500 on 17in and 2500 on 19in) - I now ride on the 19's. However when I go over bumps or imprecations on the road, the plastic 3 hole-gauge just inside/underneath the dashboard would "creak."

This car has been quiet as a mouse... is this something I can remedy? or did I shoot myself in the foot with the bigger wheels?

or is this something that would develop no matter what wheels I am riding on?

I personally think so. My 2015 E400 has some creaks in that area, and I have just put some felt in between the pods and the housing to tighten them up and make them somewhat quieter.

P.S. I have stock 18-inch Sport wheels.

I have 19-inch wheels and I don't get any weird noises. I have an older model though, 2010.
