2011 E550 P2 4M Sedan
I think my next MB would have to have parking assist with 360 view. I know that was an option in 2014, not sure about 2013.

Only MBs - the best or nothing

All of the ones built in 2014 have no folding seats or headrest button. I just figured it was an option because the car is very well equipped.
Just to be clear:

1. Folding rear seats is a stand alone option regardless if 2014 W212 was produced in 2013 or 2014. My car's production date is 03/2014 and I do have folding rear seats (was one of the long list of options I gave my dealer to find).

2. The button to lower rear head rests (but not to fold, since they're not foldable) was indeed removed for 2014 w212 cars produced in 2014 - my 2014 E550 produced in 03/2014 does not have it (its blank), while my previous 2014 E350 produced in 06/2013 did.

So to summarize, the folding rear seats is a stand alone option available regardless what year car was produced in, while the button to lower rear headrest was eliminated for MY 2014 in calendar year 2014.

Any sense why the rear headrest button was removed during the 2014 calendar builds? For some reason blanks buttons bothers me. Must be my OCD.

I am with you there. I wanted a car with all the blank buttons filled in but the price was good and the deal was there.
