Who has upgraded their brakes to E63 AMG Brakes?

Just curious what the cost and install was to do the swap. How expensive? Any modifications required or do they bolt right in?

I'd probably do all 4 corners. The braking on my 2013 E550 is leaving a lot to be desired. Plus, if I recall correctly from reading on the forums, the stock brakes don't last very long and can warp easy as they are a bit undersized for the size and weight of the car, even though they look huge behind the 18's in the front. I have brand new OEM rotors & pads all around but want to plan for the future if I can find a good deal.

Thanks for any insights!
Brian

From what I've read about the cost of E63 brakes....."If you have to ask you can't afford it"

After looking at that thread and reading up a bit more, it doesn't seem super worth it given the cost.

Thanks everyone!

NO reason why you would do this. The cost is simply not worth it. If it is really that much of an issue then I would go aftermarket.
