AMG Dash (Instrument Cluster) into E550 ? 2014 model
Has anyone tried to install 2014 AMG Dash (Instrument cluster) onto an 2014 E550 ??
I heard some people say its plug and play.
But also heard people saying it needs to be programmed in order to work ???
Anyone has done it before ???

That is false. In Germany it is a common mod for cars with the factory speed limiter of 250km/h removed, as the stock speedometer cannot show speeds in excess of 260km/h (end of scale + digital readout stops there as well). So most guys retrofit the E63 IC and with the right coding, it is absolutely no problem at all. Cost over here are less than 500 USD.

had my old clk cluster replaced with an identical cluster long ago and still had to be reprogrammed.
so im guessing, yes its possible to replace your 550 cluster to an amg cluster but wont be plug and play, has to be reprogrammed.
