Does anyone know what this is in E350 doors?
10 days back, I got the new 2016 E350 which is in inventory. I didn't observe this till yesterday. Can anyone tell me what this liquid is as I observed this for all the doors and I see there is a hole at the bottom of all the doors and this liquid mark.

I bought my E350 new in 2011. Every time I got the car washed I noticed oily residue that dripped on the rocker panels. It was coming from the weep holes in the doors.
I haven't paid enough attention to see if it still does it after 5 years.
Probably a lubricant.

Thank you all
mwmeci: I got the car washed on Sunday and I didn't know if that is after the car wash or they exists before the car wash, so checking to see if that is something that I should be concerned.
I will just clean them off now.

Drain holes on the bottom of door for the water that goes into the door. The light color stuff is some sort of sealant that is put in by factory. The drain holes will eventually weep black from soot and crap in the door. Just clean it off. MB car just seem to drip more than all the other cars I have had. Maybe a better pitch. If no drain holes the bottom of door would rot out.
