Transmission fluid flush

My dealer wanted $765 to do a fluid flush on the transmission on my 2012 E350 Sport. I did not have it done as it seems too much. What should it cost?

Ask the dealer to change the filter and fluid, not flush. If the price is too high, do a search, it is not hard to do it job yourself.

I had a flush done at local Indy 6 months ago (12 quarts of fluid) for 225. The flush is a valid procedure invoked following transmission maintenance. The general flush seems easier than drain and filter replacement. Next time I think I will request the standard drain, filter change, and refill. In any event $700 plus is outrageous.

I had flush done on my E320 & it ruptured the seals, destroying control module & costing me $6000 to fix. These transmissions were made to drain not flush with pressure. Be careful. My Indy did it right on my next E for $400.

My E63 cost about 450.00 for a drain and refill. Flush is not necessary. Drain, refill and replace filter every 40,000 miles.

Thanks for the answers on the trans fluid and flush

I found a place that I have dealt with in the past. Hixson transmission in Hixson TN that will do it for $215.
