2014 Engine Oil Filter Help
Hi guys. I'm trying to do my own oil change and looking for a Mann brand engine oil filter for a 2014 E350(not a 4matic and has Distronic. not sure if this matters). I know the previous years used the Mann 718 filters but I can't find out which filter the 2014 E350s use. The Mann catalog states it's a Mann 7025 filter but I can't find this filter ANYWHERE. Please help with any recommendations.

When I went to my Dealership for an oil filter for my 2014 E350, I was told there are two different types of filter for this model. No rhyme or reason why. The only way to tell was to pull the filter out and check. They showed me both types and there is a difference so be aware. Mine happened to be pt# A 276 180 00 09.

I just did my 1st oil change on a 2012 E550. The parts store sold me a Mann filter that was in their database, but it was not correct. I ended up running to the dealer and the filter was only $21, vs. $15 for the Mann, so not bad to just get the OEM part. I also grabbed a new drain washer while I was there, although I've done many oil changes and rarely replace the washer.
FYI, there is a rebate on Mobil 1 oil right now, $12 per 5quarts.
